I started Ask Amanda because I wanted to combine my two loves, helping people and home decor. I realized, after many conversations over the years, there were many people looking for decorating advice but were either intimidated with the decorating process, or simply couldn’t afford to hire a designer or the items that the designer may have suggested.

There are also a lot of people that are “do it yourself-er’s”, who may find the design process challenging. That’s why I want to simplify the process to make it easier for people. I will answer any questions you have, guide you in the right direction, provide links to items that you can purchase yourself—all at an affordable cost. Everyone deserves a beautiful space that they call home.
